Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh
Dear Community Members, Parents, and Carers,
Alhamdulillah, Allah has blessed us to witness this sacred month and to attend Salat al-Tarawih. It is a great favour from Him and a precious opportunity for worship, reflection, and unity.
At the same time, it is our collective responsibility to uphold the highest standards of character and to honour the rights of our neighbours. Our beloved Prophet ﷺ taught us the importance of caring for and respecting our neighbours, and this is part of our faith.
It has come to the attention of the Mosque Management and the Imams that some of our neighbours have been disturbed by noise, children screaming, and a few instances of inappropriate behaviour near surrounding buildings. This matter is serious, and we must address it with wisdom, responsibility, and taqwa.
Accordingly, during prayer times, no children will be permitted to remain outside the mosque premises. All children must either:
- Stand in designated lines inside the mosque, or
- Remain beside their parents at all times.
If a child is not praying, parents are kindly requested to stay with them outside and actively supervise and guide them. Please do not leave children unattended.
Let us remember that we represent Islam and the Muslim community through our conduct. May we use this blessed month to teach our children discipline, respect, and love for the house of Allah, while also maintaining good relations with our neighbours.
May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and efforts, and may He grant us the ability to fulfil our responsibilities with sincerity and excellence.
Jazakum Allah Khairan.
