May this Eid Al-Adha bring joy and blessings to you and your loved ones.

We have some exciting updates to share about our EC team's achievements for the CMC community:

• Submitted the final Application for the Direct Sale of Land Block 5 Section 235 Gungahlin (our currently licensed overflow car park area) to build the proposed Multi-purpose Community Centre Facility. 
• Reinstated an affordable General Membership Fee and attracted over 56 life members. 
• Enhanced the Mosque facilities and amenities, which attracted over 3,000 worshippers from the all-around Canberra.
• Extended the concrete area of the front courtyard, and the construction of roof covering has been Initiated.
• Initiated the construction of the front plaza and children playground.
• Increased the CMC's financial liquidity position by about 200%.
• Implemented a professional accounting system for CMC banking accounts.
• Appointed a full-time Qualified Imam (Sheikh Dr Hatem Saad), who delivered 20 Rakah Taraweeh prayers from memory. Under his leadership, Hafiz Quran School was established to serve around 250 kids are 100 adults from both genders. 
• Successfully organized various Islamic activities during Ramadan and Eids. 
• Installed new IT equipment for displaying prayer times and Mosque activities. 
• Developing funeral and burial services, negotiating for additional burial places. 
• Formed a social team to visit the elderly and sick.
• Maintained an environment of respect, tolerance, openness, diversity, and social harmony.
